Crinoline Lady Teapot

Great charity shop find this week - a lovely pink teapot.

But ... there's more!  On the other side ...

A beautiful crinoline lady tending her garden.

The teapot was in a sorry state when I found it - really dirty and I almost didn't take it, but I am so glad I did.  A good soak and gentle scrub and it came out fine - not even a single chip.

Made by Sadler.

I just had to put it with my crinoline lady tablecloth.

Love, Liz

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has found this week at Flea Market Finds.

They had the full set recently in my favorite charity shop. It was gone in hours.
Looks great with the tablecloth. Mary Mary quite contrary comes to mind.

Love it Liz. I'm sure my Nan had one exactly the same with a matching sugar bowl and little milk jug...sadly I'm not sure where it ended up.

I love it! Crinoline ladies are really popular at the moment.
I was using my newly found vintage bone china tea pot for the first time today and as I poured the water in I heard a noise, and then later I noticed it was leaking and I saw a hairline crack had appeared on the bottom!:0( I guess I should have warmed up the pot first, but I thought being a teapot it would be ok to use boiling water.

Absolutely lovely, I can remember these teapots, you could get whole sets of cups and things to match.

Goes lovely with the crinoline tablecloth.

I've been busy at the flea markeds in Bergen, such a shame that the seasn is so short.

Enjoy your week.
