I found this sweet little lidded dish in one of the local charity shops. I don't think I've ever bought anything from this particular shop before they don't usually get any "quality" stuff! Since my most recent find is always my favourite find, I'm naming this as my find of the year. I don't think I could decide on any particular previous find - I love them all!
I think it is either a sugar dish, or a dish for preserves - would look great on the breakfast table with marmalade in it.
Really like it and am now on a mission to find some matching pieces - would be great if I could find a milk jug.
It appears to have been made by Keele Street Pottery in England.
Found a cute little spoon to go with it.
Looking forward to seeing everyone else's finds over at Her Library Adventures - Flea Market Finds.
Love, Liz

Wonderful! It could be a story of mine, I would go out and try to find more of the same. Good luck in finding the jug and more ;). Groetjes Sandra
My Grandma had exactly this little pot - I do think there was a teapot and a creamer to go with it if I remember rightly! :-)
Lovely find, Liz!

Enjoy your sunday, I,m waiting for two of my grandchildren for a course in sewing.
Very unusual. I once had a teapot like it, but sadly no longer.
I have the matching teapot! When I am back home I will photograph it.....if I had found that it would have been my find of the year too! LOVELY!

Wow - looks like there's a lot of this around. You have all encouraged me to think that the little milk jug is out there, somewhere, just waiting to be found! Thanks for all your comments.

I love these! My mum had the whole set...but my sister got it!It was always too good to use, we just looked at it!
Hi, I dont know whether this will have been posted twice or not but anyway, just loving the cottage ware. My mum and dad have some and dad bought it for her in the 50's
Most favourite find or not, it's still lovely Liz x
Hi Liz, what a sweet little dish! I was just over at ebay.com and put Keele Pottery in the search bar...there are many pieces if you're interested in purchasing there. But I realize that the most fun is in the hunt. Have a good evening. Warm Hugs,
I just adore your buys, so cute!

I'm in love with this! I agree - it'd look so lovely and charming on the breakfast table...maybe filled with brown sugar. Thank heavens for charity and second hand shops. Wonderful find - I'm delighted for you.
ps - I've only just discovered your blog, and I absolutely love it.
