Pretty Cottage Plate

I found this pretty vintage plate in a charity shop yesterday.

I've discovered its by Barker Bros Ltd and that the Tudor Ware stamp appears on items made after 1937.

I love the pretty little cottage and the colours of the garden flowers.

Just goes to show that there are still some gorgeous vintage finds to be had out there.  I had almost given up!

Love, Liz

Oh my gosh!!! I love it!!! How sweet is that?! It goes perfectly with your header which I love. I find cottage things so appealing and have a few plates and tea pots myself. Great find. Good for you.

It looks lovely, similar to the picture in your banner. I might be able to go charity shopping towards the end of March. There is a lovely little shop I know & I will be in the area on the 24th.

I'm amazed by the bargains bloggers keep posting about. My local 'charity shops' model their prices on Harrods. Next time I'm down your way seeing my friend I'm definitely getting her to take me a wee tour of the charity shops.

I love finding treasure like this but it is getting harder now as so many others have caught the vintage bug. I like to imagine the previous owners using it and researching as much as ~I can as to the makers and year it was made etc.
Love your blog
Thank you
