Isn't it pretty? I
didn't realise until I looked closely at my photographs that you can just see
the words "Lavender Lady" down at the bottom left of the picture.
Can't quite make out who the makers are - perhaps someone
out there can help.
The plate is in perfect condition and not the least bit
worn. Love the details like the little tea set and the flounces in her dress.
Another lucky find.
Love, Liz

such a beautiful find!!
I did a quick search on google for "Lavender Lady China Plate". You might find it interesting to look at the images. I really love the plate...it was a great find!
The gilding is in such good condition - very unusual I would have thought for a charity shop find!! xx
That is so pretty and since it says English Bone China you know it's a good plate.
Amazing what people have kept for years then donate it to a thrift shop
I love her beautiful dress
It's so whimsical! I love the colors!
What a stunning plate, I had to look close but did see the words. I would love to jump into that scene and sit a while with the Lavender Lady.
It's lovely! I specially like all the gold round the outside, too!
You always find the most beautiful things! I love all the detail...xo Karen
You have such luck in finding the prettiest of plates!
It is a lovely design and am so glad you found a piece. I have a whole tea set given to me by my Mum a few years ago. She received the set as a wedding present in the 50's and passed it on to me. The set has 6 cups and saucers, 6 side plates, a sugar bowl and milk jug. I love it.
beautiful little plate, what a great find!
The makers name may be Cornish Ware. I enjoy reading your posts.
It's so pretty Liz, what a lovely find and in such good condition!
Have a good weekend!
Gill xx
Its a great find Liz, you must have got there at the right time. Lovely china is becoming increasingly rare to find in the CS these days.
